High School Staff
We are looking for high schoolers (15 years of age or older) to join our team. Hours are flexible to accommodate school and activity schedules. High school float staff assist in classrooms and help clean/close classrooms at the end of the day. Staff under 18 are not permitted to be unsupervised with children. More hours may be available on "no school" days and summer/holiday breaks.
His Ark Float Teacher
His Ark is both childcare and preschool, with children ranging in age from infants to 12 years. Preschool curriculum is integrated throughout the day and is developmentally appropriate. There is a thriving program for school-age children both before/after school and all day during the summer.
In a Float Teacher, we look for a committed individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently supporting all daily operations to include:
· Working cooperatively with Lead Teachers to provide for all aspects of care for children in their classroom
· Developing relationships with parents through open communication.
· Creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children.
· Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
· Modeling Christian behaviors and principals within the classroom at all times
Required Skills and Experience for Float Teachers include:
· Collaborate with all His Ark Staff and work with a Team mentality
· A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
· Must pass all required state and federal agency background checks
· Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Schedule for Float Teachers are flexible and can accommodate other job schedules, college schedules, part time hours, etc.
His Ark Preschool Assistant Teacher
We are seeking an energetic, fun, and caring individual to join our 3 year old classroom! Hours for this position would be 7:45 am - 4:45pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
In an Assistant Teacher, we look for a committed individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently supporting all daily operations to include:
· Working cooperatively with Lead Teachers to provide for all aspects of care for children in their classroom

Assistant Toddler Teacher
We are seeking a fun, caring, and energetic individual to join one of our toddler classrooms! Hours for this position would be 8:15 am -5:15 pm with a 1 hour lunch break. In this position, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to create and facilitate fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities for our little ones to learn and grow.
